With over 33 years of industry experience, Cotton & Company founder and president Stephann Cotton has established a solid reputation as a leader in the field of luxury real estate, resort and community development marketing.

After graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in advertising and marketing, Cotton joined Southeastern Marketing as vice president, specializing in resort and community development.

In 1983 Cotton established Cotton & Company in Stuart, Florida. The agency currently employs over 50 associates and design professionals in a 9,000-square-foot office complex.

A licensed Florida real estate broker since 1978, Cotton brings a comprehensive understanding of the real estate process to every project. Building on this solid knowledge foundation, Cotton & Company is able to use the experience and talent assembled by Cotton to create the award-winning campaigns that are the key to success for each client.

An Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) pilot with 5,000 hours as pilot-in-command, Cotton frequently pilots one of the two company planes to client sites to be sure each project receives the attention to detail that is the hallmark of the agency.

Cotton is a member of the nonprofit education and research organization Urban Land Institute, which focuses on the use of land to enhance the total environment. He is also a member of the Florida Oceanographic Institute. Along with his wife and two children, Cotton resides in Stuart and enjoys boating and fishing.
