Product: With RWO's first community well under way and others on the horizon, the company decided to focus on the world's future by going "green." Cotton & Company facilitated a partnership between RWO and General Electric's well-publicized EcoImagination® campaign, which promotes the creation of eco-friendly homes and lifestyles. The campaign featured smart land use and the latest green homebuilding technologies available to the industry.
Unique Challenges: Faced with trying to break into the top tier of the development industry during one of the worst homebuilding slumps in US history, RWO turned to Cotton & Company to market its first master-planned community, Withers Preserve in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Because of RWO's very little previous homebuilding experience, it was imperative for Cotton to create and maintain
a strong brand identity for the company. Through the General Electric partnership, a state-of-the-art website produced by Cotton and prestigious Manhattan corporate offices, the name RWO is now generating greater awareness
and credibility.
